    Specific style EDC blade

I've been reading through some of these threads to get ideas for a new edc fixed blade but I'm looking for something with a specific design. I'd been carrying the Colonel for a while and was looking for something similar to it. I'm not really knowledgeable of knives and was sold on the Colonel's simplicity. The sheath is starting to get worn and the blade isn't held in as tight as I'd like for carry purposes.

I've been looking at the Ka-bar tdi but was thinking you all might have other suggestions.

Does anyone know why the Colonel stopped being sold?

    Thanks for the help!

Could also look at the Watson Arch Angel. Yuca Axiom seems to have a very slight forward rake but very little.

Joe Watson is a friend, and I strongly recommend his work.

I don't think Watson is making the Arch Angel anymore. Variant One, whether licensed or not, is.

ETA: I'd love to own a Watson someday, but it'll likely never happen.

I know someone with a few of them. I’m not sure if he’d sell or not. I think he has both steel and ti.
