    AR inquiry

I was reading some cleaning procedures and tools used for cleaning AR equipment but I do not know all the terminology. What exactly are MOACKs and what is reaming?

It's not a reamer, it's tool used to stake the screws that hold the gas key on the bolt carrier.

I see that now, sorry. A reamer is a tool to either enlarge the chamber or to change the profile of the chamber leade. The leade is that area of the chamber right in front of the bullet to the beginning of the rifling.

You probably don't need a MOACKS unless you buy/build lots of ARs. You really dont need a reamer unless you already have Armorer level knowledge.

    Dennis.
Exactly. Neither of those are used for cleaning a weapon.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand
