    A couple. As I said I prefer the ultimak / Aimpoint setup. Hitting steel and effective terminal ballistics are two different things.

    Have had an Ultimak on a Polytech for about 15 years with never an issue.

    This is my x39 Kninkov, has an MRO on it and I like it. Was thinking slightly more low profile on the 74.

    If you ditch the riser and get a micro with a low mount it would be far more low profile.

    I'm thinking I got two reasons to carry mine;
    One as a part of a small crew served or backing up a sniper team, either way, I want a big window to work with.

    Have a similar setup on one of my Polytechs, not overly in love with it.

    Will probably just put an MRO on an Ultimak on the 5.45 Krink also.

    I have three, four if you count an M85. There's a little play at the rear, but up front where the hinge is there's virtually none.

    If you’ve got a side rail on it it seems like you could try some flavor of RS Regulate side mount setup and then maybe mount like an RMR or similar optic on it. Seems like that would be pretty low profile.
    Of course, I’m assuming you have the standard style sidefolding stock on it, which you won’t be able to fold the with that setup mounted. So keeping the optic mounted during “briefcase carry” wouldn’t really work. However the RS Regulate mounts are supposed to retain zero after being removed and remounted, (based on my limited testing, they seem to) and are pretty fast to put on and take off. But it’s not ideal for having the optic ready for an “immediate deployment” situation.

    I mounted a Stormwerkz rail in front of my rear sight. Its solid. I put a T1 on it. Last time I took it out, I could hit a 40% target at 250 yards pretty easy. I was pretty surprised. Love that rifle!

    Tons of options - what are you using the krink for?

    No love for these?

    Seems like a good option for those without at side rail. They've got a rear sight that mounts to it too for those who have to have BUIS.

    I did the Ultimak + Aimpoint thing for a lot of years. I was always concerned about the thermal cycling, resultant change in point of impact due to thermal expansion, and massive teat transfer into the optic. I never did put the gun on a bench to assess. Should have. The Aimpoint always held up and the gun remained minute of man. It would have been interesting to group it cold and then hot to assess any POI movement.
