    I find it to be pretty good rifle only needing a red dot. The fixed stock is one of the very few on ANY rifle that work for me. Even with ARs the cheek weld has me looking into the charging handle. With the VZ I'm looking through the sights.

    Safety and mag release work well for me but I'm a lefty so the controls are in the right place. Mag release.... trigger finger. Safety.....thumb!

    I have three vz.58's. Two are 7.62x39 and one is a 5.56x45 SBR. I have a left side charging bolt and FAB Defense SA Vz.58 Tactical Folding Stock on the 5.56x45 SBR. I'd say both are improvements over the original design. The folding stock can be reversed to fold either way.
