Grant and I finished season 3 last night. I was clapping, super giddy, and downing my martini in celebration at the end.
He looked at me like I was crazy.
So...typical night at the G&R house. LOL

Great series. Glad there have been flashbacks to the first movie. “Put ‘em in a body bag!” Yeah!

The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

Season Five is up. Nice finish for the series. Season 4 felt like it got a little lost. They gave the show a little bit of it's "toxic masculinity" back that made the first season work so well.

We went from Johnny Lawrence having been a bit downtrodden and building a business and being antagonized by a wealthy, yet petty Larusso but still having success and rebuilding his life…..

To a live action anime where every last person in each movie gets a callback. And it devolved into old people actively caring about karate crap that happened almost 40 years ago.
And not even in a fun Cannon films sort of way.

If I were a 70 something Billionaire Nam Vet, my utter last concern is over a mall karate tournament in the 80s.

I will admit that is one aspect of all of this that I never understood. Why would a rich guy care? They did add a reason finally, and I will not spoil it. Dojo Wars Hollywood style.

    It's called character motivation.

Did you grow up on the films in the 80s?
