L2A2 could be 7.62 or 5.56 in Britain which I hadn't noticed their actual 5.56 naming, always saw it for sale as British SS109.

The British L2A2 is also lower velocity than M855 in every review I have read along with fair number of claims an AR based rifle may not cycle with it. Usually read this was due to issues with the SA80/L85 as well.

Some claims that some AR's won't cycle with it. Apparently the one used in the Rifleshooter article.

Emphasis on "claims". Right off the bat, there is always a possibility such as the person making the claim may have never shot any of it in the first place. If true claims, there are lots of variables involved that may, or may not, apply to you and your rifle(s).

Either way, failure to cycle isn't like 1940's Turkish 7.92×57 that have a reputation for blow self loading rifles apart and the similar reputation that 1990 Indian 7.62×51 has.
