    Post Your Best AMV/GMV/MMV (Short Clip Fan Made Music Video for TV, Movies, Games)

    So, what is an AMV?
    Traditionally "Animated Music Video" but it can be for games (GMV) or movies/TV (MMV).
    Basically it is a clip montage, or specific scene/scenes from some form of film media, set to music that the creator feels fits the scene or captures the overall "vibe" of the show/game/movie/etc. The music is generally used to create a "badass" or more "feels" vibe for a short segment spanning the duration of the song used.
    The music score used also needs not only to set the 'vibe' but more or less hit the "cadence" of the scenes used. For example, we've all seen 101 videos of people shooting a bunch of slow-ass shooting match stages with some sort of metal/rock as the backing track? Yeah, that's NOT what you want...
    If a GMV, the music is usually set to the cutscenes/trailers, NOT the gameplay (unless some sort of meme use).
    Since we have a 'few' combat vets here, I'd say combat/training/etc footage counts too, if you have something you want to post up, whether historical or current events, if it fits the criteria above.

    Since this doesn't really fit the "what are you listening too" as it's more "what are you watching" I figured I'd start a new companion thread.

    I'll start off with a few examples in case some of you cantankerous boomers have no idea what all the above means...

    For starters, one of the greatest of forgotten MMVs from past years. Finally tracked it down again;
    (Per above, note not only that the vibe and song content more or less fits, but the way the music syncs with the scenes used...)

    Ok, ok, ONE more for today;
    A historical/Mil MV.
    For context- the song is from a vidya game from a cult that was supposed to be sort of a 'dig' at "gun totin' murricans". Well... the internet has been having fun turning it around into an anthem totally reversed to what it was intended.
    Also just finished "A Few Hard Men - Rhodesian SAS", so this kinda stuck in my head the last couple days.

    Ironically everyone else but me has it on YT (and probably getting paid for it). Originally I did two version on TOS, a short version and then a long remix version.

    You had me at Jennifer Connolly. I would have worked at Target if they promised to lock me in overnight with her. Would have been my all time dream job. People talk of Demi Moore (and I even worked with her in person), but compared to Jennifer it's not even close.
