It's been a long time since I used pyrodex, but I found it fouled worse, and corroded worse than real BP.

As for the static electricity thing, I researched it online for weeks, but could not find an actual instance where it happened in a loading scenario. However, the measure I use on the Lee turret press is the Lyman BP powder measure, and it has an aluminum hopper. The mec press I use for 10ga has a plastic hopper.

Never used triple 7.

Cleanup has been soap and water, the hotter the better,,but mostly for quick drying.
I have just cleaned up with ballistol oil. It's a bit more work, unless you just soak and let sit. I oil the BP guns with ballistol.
