Smile M&P vs M&P Shield slide width?

I have an M&P 2.0 9mm compact 3.6" I carry IWB. Many say the Shield is the best for carry. I know the listed width specs differ by 0.3", but that can be the grip. I'm wondering if the slide itself is thinner on the Shield. If it is, it might be more comfortable. If it's the same, it won't make any difference as the slide determines the holster size. Yes, I realize the grip is longer, but I can deal with that. Of course, less "Vitamin B" (the beer vitamin) might accomplish the same thing.

I have an M&P 2.0 Compact and a Shield 9. There is not much difference in the concealability and ease of carry between the two when carrying IWB. This biggest difference is the loaded weight.
