What aiming device do you use on your primary rifle?

Depends on which primary gun... My primary HD gun (8" suppressed 300 BLK SBR) has an Eotech EXPS2, but my main go-to 16" SHTF rifle has a 1-8 LPVO.

I voted Red Dot because I've been using them longer but I have two what I'd consider "primary" ARs one with a T-1 the other with a Kahles 1-6x.

Aimpoint PRO for me. My wife's carbine has Aimpoint Micro H1.

If I had to get up off the couch RIGHT NOW and go grab an AR because unspecified shit was going down, indoors or out, it would be the 14.7” carbine with an Aimpoint PRO on the wall rack in the bedroom.

I also have an 11.5” SBR that is set up almost identically, however that one normally stays in the safe.


My other “primary” AR right now is a 16” midlength with a fixed A1 stock and a 3x prism scope, also resides on the wall rack. If the S was HTF but I had time to evaluate the situation in more depth depending on what information I have I might determine the gun with the prism was the more appropriate one to grab for the given situation.
But for a “I don’t have time to scrutinize the situation, I need a rifle NOW” scenario it’s the carbine with the Aimpoint that I’m grabbing.
