Of course we were the generation who were gonna Red Dawn the Russians if they ever got here, were fully prepared to take on cyborgs from the future and all of that. Even if we were overly naive about our capabilities, there was no question of if we were gonna fight...but how we were gonna fight even if we ended up starting as the underdogs.

They talk about propaganda, but early mid 80s it was there and it wasn't communists they were trying to create. As kids The Waltons and Little House was our basic standard of normality, by high school we really thought we might be carrier pilots if we only applied ourselves and drove our motorcycles recklessly. Even the left was in on it to an extent, I know more than a few people who joined the military after too many viewing of "Stripes" and that was Harold Ramis and Bill Murray for god sakes.

But that was just the mentality of the time.
I literally just added this to my playlist last week after having forgotten about it for many years. That and a lot of blues music. Seemed appropriate for the times we find ourselves in.
What if this whole crusade's a charade?
And behind it all there's a price to be paid
For the blood which we dine
Justified in the name of the holy and the divine…

If it isn't already there, I strongly recommend "Hold On, I'm Comin'" by Sam and Dave.

It's probably even simpler than that.

If you support Donald Trump, you are a patriot.

If you don't, you hate America.

Plenty of patriots dont support President Trump but I don't believe anyone who loves America can support the democratic party now.

I am a child of the '80s and served under 4 presidents before I retired. There was not a lot of love for Bill Clinton when I served, I retired the month Barak Obama was elected.

I'm less a fan of Trump today than I was a month ago. And a month ago it wasn't like I was a super fan or anything, I was mostly voting to block.

In 2016 I voted FOR Trump, and it was so nice to actually vote FOR a person again. In 2020 I voted against Biden. Trump had four years, did some court appointments that I hope keep things normal for awhile and a few other things that satisfied my minimum expectations, but he dropped the ball more than a few times and generally failed to live up to what he could have been.

    Pretty much this.

Some people thinks he's a god / king / savior, all the Q-drones and their bullshit are tiring.

I wish he had won in 2020 but he's having his crap moved out of the WH so he's done.

Where it goes from here, time will tell.

But for foooks sake, hold your ****ing head up high and quit being such a bunch of whiny bitches that it's "all over".

Grow a pair or at least fake it until you make it. Don't be a nervous nelly. Live you life like a FREE Citizen. The government only has the power you let them have over you.

In short, man the **** up.

Bottom line...we are now down to nothing but patriots or traitors.

The reality is as simple as Business is good for America and America should be good for business.
We jumped the track and got sold a bill of goods, so we shut business down. Here we are.

    No, we aren't.

That kind of thinking is counter productive.

You have a good deal of 'sheep' in the middle who are either lazy, un-informed, or non-participants.

Even on the 'Trump' side there are a bunch of morons that I and many like me would only loosely work with, if we REALLY had to. Like all the shit stains that 'stormed the Capital' - uninformed idiots who fell for it, hook, line, and sinker.

And just because you voted for Trump doesn't make you a 'patriot' any more than serving in combat makes you a 'hero'.
