Thanks. With the Tapco fire control group installed, it was definitely much easier to cycle the carrier rearward and forward. I shot Fiocchi 223Rem 55gr FMJ and IMI M193 5.56x45 55gr FMJ through it today. The spent cases were going much further than before, so I cut the gas setting back to 1. Even at that setting, the spent cases still went further than they did with the factory fire control group installed and the gas setting at 2. My guess is that this is primarily due to the shape of the hammer as it's what makes contact with the carrier. I knew the hammer profile could make a difference but am surprised at how much.
I put a 3x24 ACOG on it using an AK Master Mount Yugo Optics Mount.
I really like the look of those Zastavas with the light brown wood. Very good looking.
