MCX Rattler Upper Conversion Kit - any drawbacks?

Rattlers are hard to find at reasonable prices. The conversion kits are readily available, as are lowers. Any disadvantages to going this route?

    Thanks.

I built one an Anderson lower, it runs well, no complaints. I'm a lefty so I was able to "customize the lower to my liking, I used the 45deg trigger tech selector etc. Overall it shoots pretty well for a 5" barrel. I run it mostly supressed. YMMV

Thanks a million! Exactly what I hoped. Nice looking piece - are the lower & grip gray, or is it just the light?

I haven’t. I’ve seen MCX Rattler upper conversion kits, and regular AR15 lowers.

The MCX conversion kits fit AR-15 lowers and include an adapter that attaches to the lower to support the recoil spring assembly of the MCX upper.

I am using an ar lower now, but the MCX upper is wider and doesn’t look right, although it functions fine.
