Not always. I've reluctantly used it when there was a time constraint and the conversation could not continue even though I wasn't out of things to argue. Also when I realize I'd have the same outcome if I went and argued with a tree and don't want to damage a friendship which may happen if the argument continues.

Tailor this to the situation and wokeness, maturity level and ability to take a joke of the other party.
I say something along the lines of, “You’re entitled to your opinion, no matter how wrong you are. “
When I am with a friend who can take a joke, it is funny.
When I am in a blizzard, snow flakes melt.
