Barrel Shrouds and that "Shoulder Thing That Goes Up"

Tucker Carlson hooks up with hickok45 to discuss this very controversial subject and a little 2A fun.

Tucker does mix up Carolyn McCarthy with Carolyn Maloney, though. Maybe we trade out "Karen" for "Carolyn".

    Gettin' down innagrass.

It's hard to believe that Tucker Carlson was on MSNBC and they actually provided fair and balanced coverage at one time.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

I knew he was pro-freedom in general but didn't realize he was into guns. Tucker is the only show on FOX that I will watch now.

I cut cable in 2008 so my memory might be off, but... I do believe Lary "Drill, baby, drill!" Kudlow was also on MSNBC back then.

I had heard that Tucker Carlson owns an AR, but who knows. I still try to catch Carlson each evening. He actually crams a lot of information in his show. However, I wonder if this video is an attempt to salvage some Conservative viewership for Fox? They have been hemorrhaging viewership recently since they've headed down the road to Wokeness.

Totally agree. I remember watching msnbc during the 2000 election. It had a very fair and objective Chris Matthews too. Then W was elected and everything about msnbc went hard left.

This brings up an important question. Some of these people make gun control their life's work. You'd think they'd make sure to know as much about it as they could, as much as the people they are opposing. But no. They wallow in ignorance. I don't even think a lot of it is intentional disinformation as much as it is their willful ignorance. I don't get it.
It is, as you say, "willful ignorance". Emotionalism at its worst, logic and reason need not apply. This is why it is useless to have a logical debate with one of them. They just "know" that guns are bad, especially the scary black ones because of their feelings.

You have to be pretty distant from reality to think "Well, nothing bad can ever happen to me." The problem with that is crazy stuff happens all of the time.
I have had two close friends in mental health. One worked for the VA with the more violent patents and he also worked for the State concerning parole question. The other was a 40 something Female Counselor for the VA, who had former Patients follow her home and wait outside the house.
Both of those folks were very concerned for their safety and understood the only possible way to protect themselves was to be armed. Considering the crimes some of these folks had committed neither was willing to wait for the police to show up.
Equal Protection under the Law comes to mind, but the context of Equal Protection gets a bit muddled. Our Politician's just demanded fences and Guardsmen and for goodness sakes Nancy Pelosi wanted some crew served machine guns. Am I not worthy of the same protections and peace of mind?
