Barrel Shrouds and that "Shoulder Thing That Goes Up"

Tucker Carlson hooks up with hickok45 to discuss this very controversial subject and a little 2A fun.

Tucker does mix up Carolyn McCarthy with Carolyn Maloney, though. Maybe we trade out "Karen" for "Carolyn".

    Gettin' down innagrass.

It's hard to believe that Tucker Carlson was on MSNBC and they actually provided fair and balanced coverage at one time.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

I knew he was pro-freedom in general but didn't realize he was into guns. Tucker is the only show on FOX that I will watch now.

I cut cable in 2008 so my memory might be off, but... I do believe Lary "Drill, baby, drill!" Kudlow was also on MSNBC back then.

I had heard that Tucker Carlson owns an AR, but who knows. I still try to catch Carlson each evening. He actually crams a lot of information in his show. However, I wonder if this video is an attempt to salvage some Conservative viewership for Fox? They have been hemorrhaging viewership recently since they've headed down the road to Wokeness.

Ironically, that's not really a barrel shroud so much as a rail system.

Barrel shrouds are what you see on things like KG-99's.

And yes I know that everyone knows that already.

The problem continues to be the belief by some that certain guns are inherently good and other guns are inherently bad as if a .308 round from a Remington 700 is somehow better intentioned than the same round from a HK91, FN FAL or M1A.

Yes criminals use guns and they wear pants and they drive cars. But the idea that we need to regulate guns, pants and cars for law abiding citizens because of criminal misuse is just completely absurd...unless of course we are talking about guns.

In fact all the things you would deny a law abiding citizen because criminals use them is reason enough to make sure law abiding citizens have access because "criminals use them." If the law abiding are ever going to attempt to defend themselves from violent criminals what kind of insane logic would deny them the tools that criminals would attempt to use against them?

We need to regulate people, and we should probably start with lawmakers. The criminally dangerous and their enablers need to be controlled more than any inanimate object.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

There was an old video, from the mid 90s I think, where a sheriff shows how much worse an AK is compared to an SKS! He shoots at a concrete slab with an sks and nothing happened (obviously missed on purpose). Then shoots with an AK and it of course took a chunk out!

I have a relative that doesn't understand the point of firearms. They're dangerous and you don't NEED to hunt! However, fine hunt but get the dangerous guns with the dangerous bullets off the streets. I always ask why it's ok to own a punny 30-06 or 45-70 but not the 5.56x45! I've even explained the differences and show picture s. Still....blank stare and repeats the same thing over again. I'm just curious if there's just a pre recorded message. But this is the same relative that thinks all cops are bad and we shouldn't have cops but when also shouldn't have guns for self defense because we can just call the cops! I love logic

Also, now that Hickok has made prime time news when can we expect his channel to be cancelled?
