I thought about starting a thread related to this: THat Wasn't an Insurrection.
It is the only insurrection in history where the supposedly gun-nut and ultra-violent participants didn't fire a shot and left largely of their own accord.
If that was in insurrection, so was beating on SCOTUS' doors trying to stop the swearing in of Kavanaugh, or all the times Code Pink interrupted and shut down hearings, or CHAZ/CHOP was established, or burning down and looting Federal buildings or ICE detention locations.
Yes, it wasn't good, but it doesn't help our side when people on the right call it an insurrection. That was a protest that got out of hand. A slap to the face instead of the murder of insurrection.
If they want to call it an insurrection, I demand a do-over.
But there were guns and bombs!!!! And none were used, and what was found amounted to pocket lint compared to what people would have brought to an 'insurrection'.
The up-leveling of anything done on the right- from this protest that got out of hand to the snap decision by a driver at Charlottesville compared to the organized and nationwide and sustained violence and law breaking by Antifa and the other collectivists is literally crazy.
