The conspiracy side of me says this has been allowed to move in the press because those in higher positions in the DNC don't want Kamala getting primaried in 2024 when she runs for POTUS. Cuomo was a likely challenger if he took the notion to do so.

Face facts here, this could have been crushed the same way his nursing home deaths or Northam's black face/KKK costume incidents were. Or Biden's accuser of sexual assault.

Bingo. Same with Newsom and Whitmer. Especially Whitmer since she also wants to be crowned the Queen. Wait and see, theres a long list of potential rivals they'll be needing to destroy before the 2024 election.
