    Very heartening to see nobody defending an aluminum block. Aluminum has no place as a conduit for a hot fluid.

    You said Anderson, so I'm guessing it started life with a pinned FSB? If so, clamp on is your only option. Yankee Hill makes some pretty decent clamp ons with integrated flip up front sights.

    Why are you wanting to lose the FSB? Magnified optic, or just a looks thing?
