    Colt 901 SE

I am thinking about selling my 901, $2000 sound right for a asking price?
Stock carbine with 100 rounds fired, 90% or better ... does have a few minor scratches.
It holds a duplicating position in my armory and with current political clime it is time to let it go.
This 901 was assembled by Colt in 2017 or 2018.

    Thank you for any input.

GunBroker search is your friend and that's how I'd sell it. It will be an easy sell at $2,000. Based on recent sales, I think you'd get $2,300 to $2,500. If it includes the adapter and a 5.56x45 upper, more.

Thanks Bret, I listed it with my local gun store for $2200, stock no extras.
If it sells I will post back for those studying the market.
However, I will keep my eyed peeled for any movement in HR 127 disaster.

I rec'd word from my LGS someone called in for the 901, only on the stores web sight for three days.
Maybe should have asked for more? Sold for $2199.
Now I am shopping for a bolt gun, maybe something like a Tikka T3x A1 Tac.

Great. I figured that would happen. Have fun getting a new rifle.

You might have been able to get more, but it may have taken longer.

It was a fair price, so enjoy your new rifle!

    Brett & Rhino, thanks!
If our politics become favorable (in the future) I will get another AR10 platform for now looking very hard at the Tikka.
The decision between 7.62 and 6.5 Creed is slowing me up, the 'creed' is totally new to me.

Honestly, the decision should be centered around what kind of ammo you currently have / do you reload.

6.5CM isn't cheap from my friends who shoot it. It has advantages over 762x51 but just make sure you assess the ammo supply portion before just going right to the rifle.

I sold my 901 in 2016 for 4600 dollars on GB....

You probably could have gotten more. I guess i'm just a profiteering piece of shit though.

    Congrats on the sale bud.
You are a genuine toolbag if you have your EDC "loadout" in your signature line...

Magsz, you maybe are correct except 2016 is not 2021 .... I'd like to have the energy that we all shared in 2016.

The current political situation made my 901 a burden I did not want to deal with.

I am still searching for a Tikka T3x Tac A1 .... and no success - so far.
7.62 makes sense for me because I have a bunch on hand.

My friend sold his SW Saint (7.62 and in the same store) the next day after he cosigned it there ... $1400 (used and in good condition).
    The market is strong.

If 'Bidet' does a EO limiting or closing the NICS system, prices on everything will destabilize.
    Hopefully this will not happen.
But I never imagined where we all would be today .... in 2016 everything looked good!
