Wilson Combat TR Superstock K --- issue with threads on buffer tube???

Hello,

recently got this kit new from Optics Planet and overall it looks good, but I noticed more than a few of the threads under the coating on the buffer tube seem a bit jacked. The castle nut turns with no problems but some of the threads have gouging or machining marks in the threads.

I haven't reached out to Optics Planet or Wilson yet. If it is a non issue then I am not going to worry about it and I haven't installed it yet into the lower receiver.

Anyone's experience with this kit?

Have you tried installing it yet? You ain’t gonna know if it’s bad or not until you try that.

I am not a builder so I will leave get up to the local gunsmith...but it does screw in and the castle nut doesn't have any play in it... It's just seems odd with the thread markings compared to a few other buffer tubes I have..BCM and Vltor
