The picture shows the rear sight is below the top of the RMR. Can you confirm?
Yea that's a crappy pic of the sights plus they are different than the ones I have, mine aren't the Fiber Optic ones, maybe those are different. Here is my gun. I do have a Zev Duty Slide on it but I don't think that would change the overall height of the sights. I can get a straight-on pic for ya tomorrow if ya want, just let me know.

This is the model I just purchased to use with a RMR on a milled G45. I chose the all black option so as not to clutter the sight picture around the dot (the gun also has a X300).

Based on my research, this combination seems to cowitness well with a RMR, while being more lower 1/3rd-ish with other optics.

So, you mean these sights sit higher in the RMR than other optics?

I wonder if going one size smaller is an option. *edited* Doesn't seem to be, with the sight sets from Ameriglo.

I found this link interesting, if anyone is researching the same issue:

When you mill a slide the optic sits lower than on MOS slides. So they are higher because the rds is lower relative. I have that setup on two guns. It is hardly noticeable.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

OP, good call on not having the night sights on a RDS gun. Since going to RMRs on my handguns I've swapped to all black back-up irons, including on my duty gun.
I'm using Ameriglo GL429s on my Glocks.

I actually like having a tritium front and black rear with my rmr. I don't find it distracting at all.
