I have the B&T can for my gun as well. It has significantly more back pressure than the KAC, to the point where the B&T will run weak ammo in F/A that won’t work without a locking piece change with the KAC. The B&T can is a stinker IMO, not particularly impressive soundwise either.
So long as you aren't running weak 115 gr. like Remington / UMC you'd be fine. I have buddies who run factory "pre mays" exclusively with Winchester White Box USA value packs and never had a hickup with thousands of rounds through them every year. But yeah, you ain't kidding...they run a bit dirty and they ain't the easiest thing to clean. They actually rigged up a compressed air thing as a first step and man you make sure you do that outside. Those Knights cans are remarkable. They keep functioning when you have so much buildup in them that it sounds like chunks of clay.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.
