Logistics in a shtf situation consists of whats in YOUR CLOSET and nothing else. Lots of people are starting to figure that out when they go to Ammo Supply Depot.com and there is NOTHING in stock.

I missed it being a battalion size maneuver against another large size force with artillery support. I read it was a SHTF rifle comparison. AR being normally a better balance of weight , and load out. Maybe with this COVID I’ve been in the house to long . We got artillery now? I like it.
So what do we take from your comment "Odds you’ll be dead by then"? Sounds like someone got into a rather prolonged (another word for that is sustained) shootout with bigger hombres. Hence my comment about planning and choosing wisely.

Maybe you should drink a little more.

Back on track with this, I’ve owned a lot of configurations . But the A1 is still my favorite. I just got rid of a Colt A2 and A4. Shit multiplies like rabbits. But I kept my Colt A1 and 6920. I came 1 minuet and a taco from dumping my LWRC DI. It is the nicest but never warmed up to it. I’m trying to love her. It’s very accurate. Got a Leupold VX 3i 1.5x5 on it. But still myA1 is my baby.

Is that a Nodak Spud A1 upper receiver? Kinda purple in sunlight?

G19A3 , you got me looking. If you blow it up you can see NDS at the carry handle rear. It does look purple.

Yes, its Nodak Spud. Its pretty gray, but looks purple in certain lighting. I’ve been issued rifles that were straight up purple like they got dunked in diluted sharpie juice, so I think the purply tint is kinda cool. I need to get a matching lower.
