Beretta 92x for $699 at PSA. Seems like a decent price as i have seen the 92fs for $699 everywhere lately

That's not bad at all. I have been seeing 699 online at several places

Though the pistol pictured is actually an M9A1 (or 92A1), rather than an M9...

Ya, i noticed that. I looked up the UPC number to confirm what pistol it was. First time i seen them do that. And been buying from them since 2003.

I just bought an m9a1 off gunbroker. Paid 900 for it, but it had an inox vertex slide with g conversion a trijicon sights, extended mag release, a holster, and the 2 oem mags as well as 5 mec gar mags. Plus a set of hogue rubber grips and a pair of g10 grips. Considering everything I got with it, I figured it was a fair price.

I already added WC thin grips and an ltt trigger job in a bag. This thing now puts my sig legion to shame.

Very quick update - I bought a used 92G today (put it on layaway at least). Looks to be in good shape. US made in 1992. $550 at a local pawn/guitar/gun shop with an 18+2 Mecgar mag, hard case and two 15 round PB mags. If I bought a 92FS, I would have swapped in a G conversion, so starting with a G model puts me a bit ahead.

The shop has done a couple transfers for me ($25 ) so I was pleased to buy from them.

Haven't seen any new M9A1's in shops or online lately. I'm guessing that Beretta only produces these in periodic batches?

Hilariously, I was the only guy not interested in Berettas in the 80s (I was a P7 guy). Now they are my favorite handguns.

There's still life in the old girl yet. In 2017 Oman selected the 92FS has the new handgun for it's military. Of course, we don't know what (if any) incentives were provided by Beretta.
