The North Face rejects jacket order from gas & oil company

Seems like there are more and more "politically incorrect" companies around these days:

"The company providing the jackets said The North Face doesn’t want to support the oil and gas industry in the same way they’d reject the porn industry or tobacco industry.

“They told us we did not meet their brand standards,” Anderson said. “We were separately informed that what that really meant is was that we were an oil and gas company.”

They are a private company, it's their decision. Rather than throw a public fit, go find another company to put the logo on. I hear Carhartt supports the working person.

A quick Google of North Face Brand Standards and this was the first hit:

Petroleum industry could stop selling to the fabric industry which would roughly end nylon/polyester fabric and probably half or more of TNF's products.

ditto the plastics and other materials including delivery etc...

they make products using petroleum based material !

woke is going to destroy so much sadly

would be good if all the gas and energy companies got together and banned them from buying any fuel or products needed for anything they do

The North Face rejects jacket order from gas & oil company

Man, I hope their nylon is oil-free and their products and raw materials are shipped without the aide of the gas and oil industry.

I wager they support the industry more than their tiny little jacket order would have. Rot in hell, Northface.

So a bake shop can't refuse to sell a wedding cake to gay couple but these cucks get to discriminate against oil workers. I'll bet my last dollar that some of the oil workers are gay. Maybe even people of color. Sounds like a discrimination suit to me. No wait... They would probably have trouble finding a judge to here the case. The country is as ****ed up as a can of worms!

China or in the case of my North Face jacket, Jordan. I guarantee the people in charge of branding neither know or care how any raw material is used in their clothing.

I would boycot them, but any North Face stuff I have came from the unclaimed baggage store (secondary market).

Hell, shame on the oil and gas industry for buying anything from them in the first place.

So they wouldn't sell jackets to female porn stars? That's just wrong.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

I don't own one single north face product, just because they are at least twice as much as a no name product from Kohl's, Costco or other big box retailer.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.
