I’ve seen different length prongs and different sized scallops cut on the outside of the tines. Never seen holes but that follows the other methods. Changing the mass so all tines aren’t equal.

I have Smith vortex's on my ars and my AK. They are 4 prong, but I don't hear any ringing. They also work very well, even on the 10.5" pistol.

Aircraft safety wire wrapped tight around the end will damp the ringing.
