    What do I have here?

It says made in Finland, Sako?

I need to buy a follower for a friend, the spring inside the follower is trashed. Any feedback is much appreciated.

I was told its a .223, but doesn't say it on the gun.

Sako. They had a bunch of different versions and calibers, Deluxe, 85L, Forester, Browning....etc.. Maybe more info under the stock

Does it have a Mauser type action? The stock looks like an old Husqvarna I had a few years back. That rifle also have few markings.

Solid call on the steak, this is tonight

Taliv, tonight swing by and we will grab another out for you. Cowboy cut Ribeye. My first choice is NY strip but sometimes you gotta get juicy. The picture does no justice, its 2.5 inches thick.

I have an old Sako L61R (at least I think that is the model) Finnbear in 7mm RM, and the "MADE IN FINLAND" rollmark looks just like yours. I'd take it off the stock and see what you have.

Honestly the stock looks like the L61R Finnbear of that era. Complete with flaking varnish. But I don't think they made that one in .223

Here's a link to the SAKO old models page. Check out the L61R and anything else on there that looks close. They also have a serial number range lookup table on that page.

Can't see much of the action in your pics, but I'm pretty sure that is a Sako. Finnbear, vixen, ...? I can definitely confirm that steak is a cowboy cut ribeye though, plenty good enough pic of that.

I took it to THE RIFLESMITH and he said it's a Sako Vixon L461. For all you Sako fans that may mean something.
