I think it's unnecessary and counterproductive. The point of all the rail systems is quick attach and reattachment. All of them should lock up securely enough without the need for any kind of thread lock. If your foregrip is loosening up frequently, then there's something wrong with it or the rail.

I do. It's not something i plan on taking off really, and it's also not something i'd like to have come loose when shooting. I wouldn't red locktite it, but i use blue on mine.

I agree, however, how often are you taking your foregrip on and off??

I've been shooting, training, and some competing for a long time, and I can't remember ever needing to "quick attach and reattach" a foregrip. Other accessories maybe. And Blue locktite doesn't prevent you from taking anything off, it just helps ensure things don't come loose as easily. I don't know if it's necessary, but i wouldn't say it's counterproductive.

Yeah, I don't intend to take it off anytime in the foreseeable future.

Or just put a witness mark on your fasteners and have a visual indication if they become loose.

Everything I've had from BCM or Magpul (vfg, afg, ect) has came with blue thread lock on it. I've just tightened mine and left it. Grips, sights, lights, and mounts I've put blue loctite on for sure.
