    I did not know anyone hunted with a Mountain Gun as their primary gun, thats pretty cool. I have a 629-4 MG and the barrel profile matched the one on my early model 67. It recoils a bit more, of course.

    I find Hog hunting with a 4” handgun in heavy cover much more exciting and challenging than using a carbine/long gun.
    It’s nearly always fast and close.
    A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
