Depends on what you call decent. Its probably about 250 per 1000 rds give or take.

Ammoman.com has Winchester NATO spec ammo in various lot sizes. You are looking at 650.00 for 1000 rds. I bought Federal 7.62 and paid 275.00 for 500 rds.

ammunitiontogo.com has also 7.62 from Prvi Partizan and Winchester as well. Scoop it up while you can, it ain't gettin' any cheaper.

Not to fight about it, he the op did not name brands or what not. I have not looked but I think you can still get that wolf crap from ammo man for about 250. I think Wienders still has some Barnual for less than 5 a box. You are right US made 7.62 is $$$$$. Like I said depends what you call decent.... Take care

No worries I was just pointing out that 7.62 has gone is and is not cheap even the Prvi Partizan stuff. I don't look at Wolf because I won't use it anything that I own.
