Anyone in here do his CST program?
Can't say I have, but he is a beast and his vids are fun to watch. Just glad he's on our side...

*Pat competed and placed in CrossFit Regionals years ago.

I will now walk away before CrossFit-hating tomatoes begin to fly.

I don't know Pat, but I have 2 friends that served in the unit at the same time.

They both said the intensity is real, that is the way he is 24/7

He is back on facebook as The University of Badassery. He is posting his basic dude stuff videos and his workouts.

There is a place for CF. He belongs to a CF gym (box, whatever they call their gym), but CF has limitations.

I also know people who were their when he was there, say the same thing. He basically works every day of the week and the intensity and drive are real.

The basic dude stuff vids are HI-lareous. He's really put himself out there on social media; he said at one point it (Youtube, social media) was foreign to him but you have to evolve with the times to stay relevant.

Functional exercise is what I try to do at age 76. One exercise I do I call the toilet exercise. I sit on a bench and hold a 50# dumb bell in each hand and stand up, five sets of five. Nothing worse than having to call for help to get off the toilet.

I've got it and use some of his stuff. I took his TAPS course a couple of years ago, good guy and a legit instructor.

I was BS'ing with him one day and we were talking cross-fit. Here's his quote: "Dude...I do cross fit as my warm-up for my work out."

    He wasn't kidding either. Dude's a stone-cold savage.

Well, I'll never have all the equipment that he has, but I'm getting enough that I can substitute. Today I got 200-pound tractor tire for flipping and sledge.
