    San Antonio OIS Traffic Stop 4-16-21

    Just saw the first press conference. Officer pulls over a car for unknown reasons, has a uneventful conversation with driver right up until the driver pulls a gun and start shooting. Officer takes rounds injuring his hand. Officer backs up engages the occupants of the car killing the driver and the passenger and wounding a third passenger. Supposedly he went through one mag and reloaded also, a mention of a malfunction that may have stopped him from shooting more.

    Five year veteran of the force. Way to stay in the fight even after injuries and weapon issues.
    The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    ETA: San Antonio Police Chief William McManus has more face time than anyone else the last few days...
    That officer burned down 2 guys. Who were being followed by their FBI handler.....Shooter was an IPSC/IDPA competitor....

    Several lessons there.

    Had he known of and/or paid more attention to that detail during that incident, Darian Jarrott may have been a bit more cautious with DHS.

    How do you release the dash cam or body cam from this yet? It sounds like it would make a nice book and to all these other cases where people suddenly turn at cops and end up getting shot.

    Expect fallout for shooting other occupants if only one shooter present in the car.

    These recent videos will be playing at all police depts for awhile as training and awareness. Difficult times ahead on top of all the bullshit trainings on excited dilerium, biased policing, racial profiling, sexual harassment, etc, we take on a yearly basis. No classes in school yet teaching kids how to interact with the law when they get older, cause we are the problem.
