I zeroed mine with good old American eagle 55 grain and it was an easy and all day 3 MOA with my Holosun red dot. That is basically regular old AR performance with that ammo and a non-magnified red dot. I would guess the trigger is the real weak spot. It isn't FS2000 bad, but it is definitely FN SCAR/ 80s bad. I think if you aren't used to working with less than stellar triggers you could have trouble wringing decent accuracy out of the gun. That's a shame because the AR70 had a really good trigger and there is no excuse for a commercial gun in this day and age not having a good trigger. Still I have only had one and I am usually pretty lucky but I don't see any evidence of mechanical accuracy issues. I would LOVE one in 7.62x39...it certainly interests me more than the Bren2 or other non AK 7.62x39 options.

This weekend I may do some informal testing. I have a 3x magnifier and will bag it up good and shoot 55gr, 62 grain and good Lord a few precious 77 grain just to see.
Let those who are fond of blaming and finding fault, while they sit safely at home, ask, ‘Why did you not do thus and so?’I wish they were on this voyage; I well believe that another voyage of a different kind awaits them.”
