    OK Guys,

    Below, was the best I could manage with the 'cut & paste' method in transcribing the relevant data from eBay to here on the Forum. And, here it is for better or worse;

GUNTEC Brand, Over Barrel - Multi-Port Muzzle Brake 1/2x28 TPI Cerakote FDE

    eBay Number # 114739008004

    MPN: Guntec USA-FDE-1326-Compensator-muzzle-brake

Multi-Ported Muzzle Comp Reduces Felt Recoil Up To 70%

USA MADE [ in Arizona ]

    • T6 6061 Aircraft Aluminum

    • Made in USA

    • 1/2x28 TPI

    • Length: 5.50"

    • Weight: 6.2 oz (176g)

    • OD: 1.23"

    • ID: 0.79"

    • Covers 4.30" of barrel (incl. threading)

    • Goes over barrel & threads on-at approx 3.75" inside-adds about 1.20" to barrel length

    • Dual-purpose, functions as barrel cover & muzzle brake

FITS: Any rifle threaded 1/2x28 TPI with 4.30" of barrel behind the muzzle: 223/556/22LR

THANKS, That is indeed the item in question. It appears to run about $60 more or less, with the Black version being a bit less than either the FDE or OD Green. From what little I've learned, the do appear to function as advertised. The do of course reduce your 'felt recoil', as most such devices do. However, as many of us are aware, this reduction usually comes at a cost, which tends to be a dramatically increased noise level. Probably not for me, but the kid wants one, so it's his money as they say, right ? I won't be standing along side of him when he's firing though !! THANKS AGAIN for all the kind replies.

You could put a six ounce brick on the end of the barrel and reduce jump. Mall Ninga gear.

Aluminum Muzzle Device? I'd say no, but If you do, make sure you use a lot of high temp anti-seize compound on the threads.
