    Bulgarian 7.62x39 Krinkov kits?

Is anyone still selling these? I really want a Bulgie 7.62 Krink but I didn't get a parts kit when K-var still had them. The Yugo SBR's just don't do it for me.

Nope... They were always very rare.

Then the Arsenal SLR107UR came along - when they first came out they ran about $150-$200 more than most 7.62 Krink kits were going for. Now they are probably mostly above $1200... Still not that bad when you consider all the work you would have to do with a kit - they'd probably still end up costing about the same.

    Spooky

The only Bulgarian kits I new about were the 5.45 X 39 with the side folding stock. The Yugo underfolder Krinks were in 7.62 X 39. Learn'd sumtin nu

If I had to write out what my exp. was I would said the same thing. Not that there were too many, but many of the Bulgy kits were 5.54mm and 5.56 with side folders. Don't recall if I ever saw one in 7.62. The Yugo M92 around though (the purest don't like to call them krinks because the barrel is too long...I never had a problem with that)

You might reconsider the m92 with a sidefolder stock. A buddy of mine has one and it is a sweet shooter. Although I prefer the underfolder on mine. Not sure I would want to go much shorter on the barrel as the muzzle blast and flash is impressive. It will turn the heads of the Fudds on the range, that is for sure.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll probably end up getting a 5.45x39 Krink kit. I mainly didn't want to have to stock up on another caliber of ammunition, and different mags... but oh well we can't have everything we want, can we?

I might also get a SLR107UR, SBR it, and put a Krink flash suppressor and wood on it.

Just make sure if you do a 107ur you get the gas port resized properly. They are a sweet looking gun.

Yep, you must remove the front sight/gas block.

Here's a view of the FS/GB hole from the top.

Here's a view from the bottom.

I'm told that this hole needs to be opened up to 3mm.
