If I were a 19 yo and I married into royalty who drank, shot guns, and had bad ass landrovers and exclusive hunting plots then I most certainly would have played ball. I don’t think I would have much sex drive as a woman but the Prince would see to my needs. He also has his side chicks. I can squirt an heir and a spare. All I would ask of Her Royal Highness would be a couple L1A1s, a few Sterlings, some of that German cake, and a little She Shed hidden in the shire where I can blast loud punk music, put up rebel flags, and a Commodore 64 and a badass landline so I could talk to my internet friends (if it’s the 80s).

I mean OMG what a hard life Diana had...servants, flying on a Concorde, wearing designer outfits, oh no what a horrible life. What a total living hell. I would be like Lady Bathory, arcane and inaccessible. I certainly wouldn’t be whining about landmines and AIDS.

You could hack it a 19 year old assistant teacher at a nursery school...maybe not. Her activism came much later, she tried to fit in. I think most 19 year old nobodies would LOVE to become an actual princess, they don't tell you how much it really sucks.

And don't think I have sympathy for royals, I think Elizabeth is a giant bitch. The only one who seemed to have any decency was Phillip and he was also an outsider. Margaret probably was a nice kid but they crushed her soul as well.

I think you summarized my feelings as well. I will say that I've watched all of the first four seasons and think it portrays many aspects of their lives in a manner that most of us haven't ever seen (or cared about). I'll watch the next two seasons as well, just like any other seasons of Cobra Kai. Animal Kingdom, The Last Kingdom, and any other show I've watched. I wish Marco Polo hadn't been cancelled.

I like these entertaining shows that dabble in fact so a bit of history lesson. We enjoyed it. But for pure entertainment, THE GREAT huzzah!! LMFAO
