.300BO AR15 vs Steyr AUG in 5.56

I can't think of any advantages over the AUG other than just having another cool toy. Amazingly I have never bothered to get a 300BLK. In fact, for some reason the only gun I have ever considered in 300blk is a bolt (to run with my Silencerco Harvester). Just seems like too hassle and another caliber to keep up with. That being said I am sure next year I will be all 300Blk I am such a flake.

If you’re hedging bets against the sniffing uncle I’d get a lower and upper that I wanted build into a .300BO and a AUG. My AUG is really cool and fun to shoot. Supposedly they suck suppressed. I bought mine because of Karl and Die Hard but it is a really fun gun. The AUG has the added benefit of me being able to shoot it and drive my truck at the same time.
