Or just 3 different sellers asking 3 different prices. You know..... typical gun show BS.

My middle son is in Italy (173 ABN) and is trying to decide between an AR and a Tavor. Hopefully prices are not ridiculous once he decides. I will buy the rifle and transfer it to him (however a legal transfer happens at that time) when he returns to CONUS.

Well there's your answer as to why they're priced so differently. What's there to try and understand?

Maybe it's not that simple. As was pointed out above, different times of manufacture and different markings may affect value. I simply didn't make a close inspection to see if I was comparing apples to apples.

Dude, it's a frieaking panic year! It's that simple. Go on gun broker and you'll find $2k Colts because Biden, riots, virus, antifa, lockdown....etc... It's that simple. Or do you think individual sellers get some of a memo from the manufacturer at what to price their products at?

I'm still amazed that there are 6920s available at that price. I know I'm repeating myself but they cost more than that over ten years ago.

Sure did. My first one was in ‘08-‘09 and i think it was about $1200.

Back then they came with a carry handle, side sling mount, 2 20 round mags, sling, cleaning kit, and manual.

A few months ago I got an M4 marked one on this forum for 1400. One of the old ones that's all to spec. Tomorrow at 9, I'm buying one locally for 1600 that looks to be the M4A1 SOCOM. It's coming with an ACOG on a Larue mount for that price, so I didn't look the gift horse too closely in the mouth, but it has the side sling swivel and ambi safety from the factory, so those are good signs. Carrier is also c marked, and front sight is f marked. I will find out tomorrow if it has the Colt MP mark, but I'm buying it either way.
