Here's something that looks pretty interesting. 1-8 with decent weight. Reticle seems fairly useful and FFP.

Questions are;

Is it daylight bright? Probably not. At least not as bright as most people expect.

Is the reticle so small at 1x (combined with relatively dim illumination) that it is basically worthless?

Does the reticle get so big at 8x that it obliterates targets?

The price on those accutech things is close to what EuroOptic is currently selling gen2 razors for.

It seems funny to me that folks have chased after true 1x performance out of a lpvo for so long and, now that it's here, are willing to give up that performance for other strengths in an optic like FFP. I suppose the nature of shooting has evolved along with optics technology.

I'm with you there. I don't see the issue.

Maybe a swaro if you get good pricing.

Good list, just add NF 1-8 ( not the ATACR model ) however both are great. The 1-8 is cheaper and lighter.

And 15 years ago most people would give you the same advice about Vortex.

They have paid their dues and have an established name / known business model.
