I probably wouldn't take the range figure as gospel, But it definitely looks like a missile that'll knock your dick into your watch pocket:

"Theater commanders in both Europe and the Pacific will gain control of Multi-Domain Task Forces equipped with both the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon, with range “greater than 2,775 km” (1,725 miles) and the Mid-Range Capability, with a range of “around 1,800 km” (ca. 1,120 miles). The questions that come to mind are how big a warhead and what is the terminal guidance system because if it's GPS those satellites will be the first thing taken out in any near peer conflict.

The basis for why the US almost loses WWIII in one of my SF novellas, was due losing the high ground because that realty being ignored.
