    Chip McCormick passed away

Didn't see a thread on this, but he certainly helped change the 1911 landscape in a huge way.

I'm glad his legacy will live on through Wilson Combat.

Damn. As a longtime user of his mags, and owner of Kimbers, I have GREATLY appreciated his work. He will be missed.

"Chips" Mag Follower was designed by Devel Corp. in '82 from memory.

Charles Kelsey and Walt Wolff were designers.

Just keeping the Historical Record intact. He WAS a very good business man.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
