I have not seen that as of yet. That to me is the where it's at, and if so, where he will be shown to have bold faced lied to Paul, ergo, Congress. He didn't say cheap masks are useless, etc. and the evidence was in flux, hence the quote from Fox article above:

That's all I see in those emails so far, but, if the part in bold exists in those emails, he's screwed, and should be nailed to the wall for it.

I dont know what itll take for some here & elsewhere to admit what we now all know. Maybe nothing. I read something that Tucker Carlson said akin to "Fauci is the new Jesus for those who are athiest" or something like that. And he is. Covid is a type of religion/belief for many now.
Fauci is a commie/China loving lying ass rat. This I still believe was all mostly done to hurt Trump, which it did, and ensure at any & all costs the he never got re-elected.
Aslo very telling how he recommended religious services to cancelled, while allowing alm ost everything, including riots..I mean protests, cruise ships, ballgames,ect. Religious services were explicitly singled out.
Ill wait for the athiests/alien lovers to chime in how crazy I am now.

Exactly so. There is nuance in what he said, he's actually incorrect on a few aspects, and depending on when he said it, probably aware of that too. Again, data was, and continues to be, in flux. Having said that, we already have him lying about masks early on that they don't work to save them for front line med workers. While I "get" his motives at the time, he still lied, admitted to it later on, and regardless of motives, trashed his credibility from that and other comments.

To me, if it can be shown he was fully aware of gain of function research and bold faced lied to Paul / Congress on vid, then his goose is rightly cooked.

I'm an atheist but I hardly consider Fauci a Jesus figure. What does religion have to do with it anyway? Yes, people turned COVID into a pseudo-religion or maybe even a cult, but you expect all atheists to defend Fauci? What sense does that make? Being a religious zealot only takes away from your argument which may have some valid points.

I only spoke for myself, that I don't consider him a Jesus figure. You are 100% right in that those to turned COVID into a religion/cult consider him to be on par.
