CA will fight this tooth and nail. The 3 judge panel to hear this will, like the magazine ban, uphold the verdict. Then it'll go full en banc where it'll be overturned. (Just like magazine ban) Then SCOTUS.
Saint Benitez was incredibly intelligent not only in the ruling, but the timing and how he thought out the stays. He did so knowing what judges would review the stays in San Francisco. Really good stuff there if you know how it works.

We've already won at the 3 judge panel level 2-1, we're waiting for the en banc decision now. And yes, it's been a while.

This is the CA DOJ strategy. They will slow walk everything in the 9th with this one just like they've done with the Mag ban.
