Definitely optimized for accuracy. Symmetry throughout and nearly flat baffles with no clipping.

Surefire is very proud of their low zero shift and “internal venting”. Of, course, they were a flashlight company still when they designed (or did they borrow that from Ops Inc?) those baffles, so who knows. And, I’m willing to bet that low zero shift and reduced backpressure had higher priorities than some other aspects in the contest for contracts. Along with reduced flash.
