If you can find the old Gemtech HALO (steel) suppressors they do nicely on full auto and have a fantastic mounting system. But once they are smokey hot you might have to let them cool for 6 hours and still need a strap wrench to unscrew the suppressor from the coupling.
Current HALOs are titanium and while rated for full auto, I've yet to see a titanium can that really holds up to a LOT of full auto use.
In full auto I'd be very, very leery of any direct thread suppressor. It only has to walk a little bit before you put a round through the end cap. Been watching people shoot full auto / suppressed since the early 80s when they were still using wipes and packing with mesh and I've seen a lot of accidents.
Suppressors have come a long, long way since then but one constant I've seen is a decent mounting system beats direct thread every time when talking full auto. Direct thread on semi autos or bolt guns is a completely different animal.
Also SureFire is known to be a tank more than it's known for being ninja quiet. SF is what you give to the guys who are going to swim with their rifles and otherwise abuse the shit out of them.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.
Chuck, we miss ya man.
