CR6920 - quality?

Looking to get another 16” basic carbine. Now that the new Colt cr6920’s have been around for a good bit, what’s the general consensus on them in terms of function? If a prospective buyer has no interest in collector’s value, and is simply looking for a duty-grade carbine/shooter, are they still good to go compared to the older Colts?
