I really like N140. Some of my best groups with the 77 SMK are with that powder.

N133 is what I am shooting behind the RMR 75s. It's on the fast side for that heavy of a bullet but I am hoping it does well in the 11-16" barrels. One of the shooters at the local range swears by it in his AR.
I found this place online last night. I’ve never bought from them but may stop off on my next trip to see my daughter in Savanna…

$273 makes it $35 /lb before shipping and hazmat.

With shipping ($22) and hazmat ($23.50) brings it to $318.50 which is under $40 /lbs delivered to South Central TX

That's a good price and Whidden is legit. I have a set of their 6x47 Lapua dies.

I think I paid $28 pound for my 8lb jug of N140. Wish I had bought 2 or 3 jugs.

While it is too soon to post anything positive, what I have been seeing is groups of 4 with 1 darn major flyer. I've tried TAc, Benchmark, and XBR, and run some tight spreads with powder charges. So I'm not yet a fan, but for blaster bullets they are ok. Further testing to follow.

They are somewhat of a blaster bullet with medium range capabilities. I figure if you miss at 500 yards, just squeeze another one off.

Any of y’all launching these with Sta-Ball Match yet?

I haven't even seen Staball Match yet, only heard about it.

    Powders I have tried-

TAC worked best, but only marginally, and I did the most load development due to it being the most plentiful at the time.

SMP735 surplus powder. SMP= St Marks Powder, who also makes the Staball powders. Burn rate is closer to H322.

Powder choice typically won't take a 1 MOA bullet and shrink it to a 1/2 MOA bullet, but I was curious if the issue was my rifle or the bullet. In one of my rifles the 69 3GH averages 3/4 MOA while the other is about 1.5 MOA.

I’ve got a pound of it that I picked up locally. I didn’t even consider that it’s new, so load data is scarce. I’ve got other powders that could work with 69s, just looking for an excuse to fall in love with Sta Ball Match. If that powder is as advertised, it would be perfect for shooting to 600yds off a progressive with a regular AR, which happens to be what this bullet seems well-suited for.

I load small kernal extruded powders on my 550b all the time. IMR is an absolute no go. But XBR, H322, and N135 all work good.

To take on a new powder, I'd have to get at least 8 lbs. I won't pour effort into 1 lb at a time. By the time you wring it out, you have to start all over with a new lot.
