I see that RMR is now offering a blem version of their 69 grain bullet

Their first tier bullets are cheap enough that if your going to reload, I would just buy non blems. But that is my .02 literally. If you are just going to shoot CQB, then why not its almost FMJ prices.

With 55 FMJ hovering around 10 cents each, and RMR having a 10% off sale, it puts their 69 grain blems at 9 cents each. The savings between the regular and the blem is worth $40 which is a pound of powder in this market.

I grabbed some to try but I am betting they still shoot better than any 55 FMJ that you can buy.

Oh.. no question about it. I actually went to buy the 2k package, but it was gone when I clicked to add to cart.

Yea, if it were those or 55FMJ, no doubt these are a steal. I doubt they shoot any different, all the blems we have bought over the years have been great. They changed their equipment, they didn't have a hurricane. Good call Marshall.

What velocity are you guys using these at?
    Im getting 2700fps (23.4gr H322 | cci 41) out of my 14.5"bbl.

Should I try to take it up or is that full power/556 area?

The brass had no pressure signs, but im getting sick of developing loads and just want to shoot, lmao. I only chronoed 2 rounds but they were 4 fps apart.

2700 fps is fine, if your precision is good.

Yeah. I was getting 2850 out of a 20" bolt gun, but blew one primer and was getting swipes. I'll take 2700 out of a 14.5 on a load that's NOT going to cripple my gun with blown primer any day.

The 69s fly so good, you dont have to achieve top velocities at all.

    Thanks for the feedback.
I should get some in paper this week, then get some more time at 700 next Tuesday, maybe even out to 1k.
