How to use RMR triangle?

I'm looking at the dual illuminated RMR's and want to understand how to use the green triangle as an aiming aid. Do you put the target on the tip of the triangle?

I don't use triangles on handguns, but I have used the Trijicon Accupoint with triangle post reticle. The tip of the triangle was for zero and precision, the triangle as a whole was for closer up/center mass shooting. I imagine that the same concept applies to use on handguns

I'd suggest skipping the dual illuminated models and sticking with the RM06 or RM07. There are too many lighting conditions where the dual illuminated models wash out and can't be seen.

The Primary Arms Holosun triangle has a large circle around it which is nice for handguns to assist finding the dot. It’s pretty cool for those interested in a Chevron dot.

Like others , I like the chevron for long guns, not pistols.

No, it's a large circle that sits outside the window when the chevron is centered.

I've been running the new Holosun ACSS Vulcan reticle (the circle around the chevron). I LOVE the circle idea and hope it gets adopted by all pistol red dot manufacturers, but i would prefer a dot to the chevron. I feel like i am more accurate at long range with a dot, but i guess you can use the chevron as a BDC.
